Douglas Malaysia is thrilled to announce our participation in the prestigious Team Canada Trade Mission to the Indo-Pacific region, taking place from March 24th to March 29th, 2024. This significant event, focusing on innovation sectors and promoting inclusive trade, aligns perfectly with our commitment to diversity, innovation, and sustainable development.
We were honored to receive an invitation to join this minister-led mission, which speaks volumes about Douglas Malaysia's standing in the global marketplace and our contributions to the sectors of agriculture, technology, and more. As part of this high-profile delegation, we visited Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from March 24th to 26th, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from March 27th to 29th, engaging with key stakeholders, exploring new business opportunities, and participating in discussions aimed at forging stronger ties between Canada and the Indo-Pacific region.
The mission's focus areas, including aerospace and defense, agriculture and processed foods, clean energy and technologies, information and communications technologies, infrastructure, and life sciences, provided a rich backdrop for us to showcase our innovations and explore synergies with Canadian and international partners. The inclusive approach of the Team Canada model, welcoming participants from diverse backgrounds and sectors, resonated with our values at Douglas Malaysia, emphasizing the strength found in diversity.
